A Zen Momentby Marc923Comment: oooooh...I really like this. Great moody sky and I'm not sure if this was converted to monochrome or if the scene itself is monochromatic but looks great this way in my opinion |

A Photo Finishby jumboshrimpComment: Nice capture but the processing doesn't work for me. The saturation has been pushed way too much making the image look cartoony. |

Brooklyn Bridgeby JamesAComment: I like the way you've incorporated the lines into your composition. I agree with Hotpasta on the suggestion to use monochrome. It would help bring even more focus on the lines.
This looks like a tough scene to expose for: there's some blown highlights but also some dark areas where we'd like to see more detail. Shooting from the other side of the support might have helped. (I think you could still get the same composition if I remember correctly) |

Romeby JamesAComment: The sky is terrific in this shot. The building is interesting but it feels a bit truncated. I can't remember this building so I can't give any advice on different ways of framing it unfortunately.
I'd also be curious to see what this would like like in monochrome. |

Wait...I dropped my sunglassesby JudiComment: Its never fun getting dumped on your head. Especially when you are riding a horse that's supposed to be broke. I got tossed one spring while out on a ride and fractured the vertebrae at the base of my skull. If I hit a little harder I wouldn't be around today to submit to DPC.
Interesting processing. Usually for these type of the images they tend to be presented "straight up". I like this though. My only complaint (and its a small one) is that the horse look especially shiny. The image appears a little angled but I think it adds to the action.
You captured the action perfectly though I am not sure she'd like to have a print. ;)
In any event, great capture and I hope that she is doing well. |

White flowersby hajekaComment: wow....great exposure on this. I always find it hard to expose white objects on white backgrounds. |

Field Tripby kellyoComment: Street photography (in my opinion) is more candid and unplanned. Unless you walked by and saw this. :) |

Final Footwearby SiouxComment: I'll chime in with an echo of what's been previously stated: some people weren't able to think broad enough to have this meet the challenge. I personally thought that the idea was clever and original for the challenge. If you compare your score with the average given by commenters you'll see that the people who "got it" generally really like it |
