I like the location...It would certainly fit the criteria for the challenge of "Street Photography". This will be the first time I enter such a challenge, but as a potential voter I'll tell you what I think.

I just think that it lacks Drama. I don't think that the image needs to contain much "street" as such, but give the idea rather that you were "on the streets" when you took the photo. This could mean that the large portion of the image could be of people on the sidewalk. If I were standing in that street right now for this week's challenge, I would walk on over to the right and stand at that pedestrian light and take a picture up the street towards the opposite sidewalk...this would (hopefully) catch the crowd walking slightly downhill towards you, with all that lovely signage above their heads.

I think it's the people who make "Street Photography" interesting, and at this point the people are a bit little in the image, while the anonymous road and truck take up a lot of the image space.

Anyway, that's my opinion and how I would have addressed this image. Hope it helps some!

Ah - this was you: are you familiar with John Coplans' work? This has nuances of some of his portraits and self-portraits. Don't I wish we could have had a truly "Unromanticised Nude" Challenge, or Nude Abstract. The plastic nudes leave me unmoved...obviously I'm a minority vote. But the real beauty of flesh as it takes on life, is a powerful subject. A bold, brave entry.

I wonder if you had run this through "Neat Image" if it might have created a more silky effect on the coat? There is a lot of noise in this image, which si a pity, because it is a great portrait. I might have adjusted Balance/Contrast too, to take down the blown out spots on the ear and chest? Great subject for the challenge.
