|I like the location...It would certainly fit the criteria for the challenge of "Street Photography". This will be the first time I enter such a challenge, but as a potential voter I'll tell you what I think.
I just think that it lacks Drama. I don't think that the image needs to contain much "street" as such, but give the idea rather that you were "on the streets" when you took the photo. This could mean that the large portion of the image could be of people on the sidewalk. If I were standing in that street right now for this week's challenge, I would walk on over to the right and stand at that pedestrian light and take a picture up the street towards the opposite sidewalk...this would (hopefully) catch the crowd walking slightly downhill towards you, with all that lovely signage above their heads.
I think it's the people who make "Street Photography" interesting, and at this point the people are a bit little in the image, while the anonymous road and truck take up a lot of the image space.
