Tops!by freakin_hilariousComment: Why a sepia palette for an otherwise bright and colourful subject? Not sure that the duotone works well in relation with the subject here. Nice idea and I like the use of 4 tops leading into the OFF distance - gives a nice sense of movement. |

The mill of Arlovby veigathComment: While a beautiful picture - the lack of obvious movement in the sails (well the sails are not up at all) doesn't convey a sense of spinning. Yes I see that it could spin - but right here and now it isn't. |

1720 Spanish Mission Grist Millby PhantomEWOComment: I just love this location and subject for the challenge: so warm and full of character...the wood, the flagstones, the flour dust....I just think that with heightened contrast you could have drawn out the rich tones and made the image warmer and more engaging. |
