Contrasts seem a bit strong - the shadows result in a smudgy/muddy effect - not sure that I am explaining myself properly. An interesting example of Dichotomy however.

I am trying to decide if this is more about the sky or the sea... It's avery beautiful image certainly. Also you will probably get a few comments about the horizon being centred ...but I do see that it works in this image having a balance of image and its reflection.

A beautiful scene - I just find that the shadows or blacks are very heavy in this. that cloud formation is stunning, but the horizon line and the beach itself is black...almost disturbing: great idea for the "nightmare" challenge though :-) - nah just being facetious. But looking even at the shadows in the little wave ripples, - they're very dark. Maybe the contrast was pushed up too high?
