Flyingby FranziskaLangComment: Gorgeous journalistic shot! I like the cropping chosen here, which makes the off-centeredness of it have meaning! |

Finish Line by RuchartComment: Would also work for a "perspective" challenge! Great action feeling in this photo, even without any actual action! |

Reach for the skyby brentg3Comment: Very nice use of color and composition! It feels like a forest of statues the way you've chosen to shoot them! |

Life Saverby AnnidaComment: This photo is interesting, but (whether deliberate or not), I find it difficult to get my bearings looking at it. The background is so plain, I can't tell if this was thrown in the air or is floating on water. I find that unsettling. |

Learning To Flyby DiversqComment: Having looked at all the images now, I have to say that this is one of my favorites in this competition! I love how the unused space is actually part of a story being told by the photo. The DOF adds interest too, makes it look like a runway for the little bird. Well done! |

National Geographicby kyrielleComment: Simple, but I can definitely picture it as a cover for some reason. I like the, well, simplicity of it! |

Family Circleby KarenBComment: Just skimming through, and so far your is the first that made me go "YES!" when I saw it. Looks just like a cover of theirs! Nice work! |

Iced Cap chillin at the beachby DCThiessenComment: Just for the record, this was one of my favorite images of the week, and I'm surprised it wasn't a top-ten. While maybe not the most artsy thing out there, it definitely has PERSONALITY, which a lot of the technically flawless studio shots do not. So if you're going "darnit!" when you see your score, just remember that there are a lot of votes higher than five for this picture, including mine. :) |
