My - Self - Portrait

I like the expression, and it looks like the wind is blowing. This photo has a lot of interest in it, from the blurred-out valley to wondering what you might be looking at. Only concern is that the sky is VERY blown-out, maybe too white.

The shoe placement is what makes this work. It DOES tell me something about you, but not much... frankly, I like the way it's composed. Pillows are a bit dark on the couch, but that's it.

Love the expression and the eye! Might have tried bright red lipstick to add a counterpoint to the blue of the eye, but overall I like this photo! :)

Aha! Now I get it! :) I think "his" photo worked better because of his expression, but I think this would make a GREAT pair of photos for you to print and frame! I like how your composition mirrors the other one, but to be honest, his stands alone better than yours (I think mostly because you look like you're having fun with the picture-taking aspect of it and seem to be focusing on that rather than "on him".)

To me, this photo looks blurry, and the colors aren't very sharp. Try sharpening it and saturating it (or desaturating it completely) and see what you get. I like how it's cropped and the expression and everything! Just technical aspects of the execution would be my gripe here.

Interesting choice. It really sets a mood, and the leaves add something too. I like the pose, almost dancer-like. Nice.

Interesting -- feels almost like a candid of a photographer rather than a self-portrait! Can't decide if the angle adds anything or not, but the general feel is nice.

I'm sure you're getting plenty of comments on the SUBJECT (!), so I'll just focus on a couple other items: the title is hilarious and really adds something! The lighting is so dramatic, too! The only issue I have is that it looks almost blurry on my monitor, and something so precise as this should be sharp as a tack.

The expression on your face really makes this photo captivating! Looks almost like a smirk, like the viewer is in on some joke with you and everyone else is "on the outside" of it. The glasses/string on wrist tell something about your personality, give this an artsy feel. If the contrast were bumped up slightly, I'd like it even better. But it's great as-is!

The emotion in this portrait really adds a lot! It tells a story like many of the other photos do not, with the flowers and the embrace. It doesn't look all "studio" or anything, but it's a very evocative photo. I like how the two heads and the flowers all tilt at the same angle. This is very nice!
