Evening Weather Report for UT, Austin: Beautiful!by paganiniComment: Good foreground interest but quite dark, giving an initially confusing silhouettes. The sky is great, lovely colours and the stopped down aperture gives an interesting star effect to the sun. Maybe some really low power fill to put some light into the fountain would be interesting, though it might ruin the mood |

Amber Lightby crabappl3Comment: good cloud shot - you've kept all the detail even in the white areas. Feels almost post-apocolyptic to me - must be too much CNN. I would like to see more of an uneven balance between the sky and the clouds though - currently I can't quite tell if it is a picture of clouds with some sky, or a picture of sky with some clouds. |

Spring Colourby rainbowComment: good subject, shame about the blown out sky and the people walking around. You could maybe have gotten closer to those flowers on the left and used a lower angle to get rid of the sky completely ? |

redby picnovice1Comment: The grey/brown background really lessens the effectiveness of this one. |

Water Godby FiverComment: great - except for the appartment buildings in the background - wish you'd found an angle that didn't show them. |

Colorful!by nathaliedooComment: the centers of the flowers have ended up really muddy and unpleasant |

Pinks, greens, and a splash of blueby xertionComment: good subject and composition, but seems like a poor choice of time of day. The light is really harsh and very high - giving you a lot of harsh shadows. Some reflected fill might have smoothed that out, or using your flash maybe ? |

Hot Chiliesby imagesloyolaComment: hot! Great subject choice, but the focus seems quite soft ?
With all that blue 'sky' and those peppers 'reaching' up into it, I'd love to see this turned by 180 degrees... |
