Fluid painting by christoComment: Like the technique and principles you describe in the details - a more interesting final result because of how it was created for me |

Open Wide and say AHHHHby BAMartinComment: Lovely colours, good use of focus control, though I'd have liked to have seen the whole stamen (? - the white / yellow bit) in crisp focus and the rest of the flower as is. The soft light works well but perhaps some more back light through the flower would have made this even better ?
Seems to have a lot of potential as a portrait orientation too - as there seems to be more interesting details out of the top of the shot than is on the sides. (9) revised 10 |

Color Wheelby greenem2Comment: strong, graphic composition. good colours, interesting textures and well exposed. Doesn't hold a lot of appeal for me but you've certainly designed a good photograph here. (9) revised 10 |

Morning Lightby falveyComment: great studio flower shot. dramatic light, particularly giving the translucent regions.
Doesn't really feel like it suits the square framing though - as if it needs some more space at the top. (9) - revised 10 |

Meeting of Red and Greenby GraciousComment: wow - are these the real colours ? The grainyness just adds to the great textures and patterns in this. Cool shot, though I feel it should point up to the right rather than the left - have you tried rotating it around to see how it looks at different angles ? (9) revised - 10 |
