Screen Pass (This is not cropped or posed ... just lucky.) by sigs10Comment: Problem is, it is tough to tell from the shot if your title is true or not. He could just be lifting the ball up and tossing it - the shot doesn't really let me know. Ignoring that for now...
Focus is really sharp, and framing is excellent. The soft background works to show him catching the ball and the facial expressions are strong (7) |

Youth Soccer... best when soggyby DiamondPeteComment: The umbrella really enhances the feel of the shot and hides a probably white sky too very effectively. The horizon tilt is a bit annoying/ disconcerting though. Good shot. A faster shutter speed would have crisped things up a bit, but I guess the light was pretty dim with the weather |

Pedal Fasterby Spork99Comment: Great slow flash shot - certainly captured some action with this! The hot highlights on the chainring don't bother me at all - works really well. Good entry (9) |

Showdownby zeuszenComment: Wow - very unusual take on the sports theme. Good capture with both jacks being sent out to and an interesting composition repeating the theme. |

Kicking Katieby Woody102Comment: Feels like a 'spot the ball' competition. Good action and emotion, I just wish the ball was still in the frame. |

Anticipationby rll07Comment: good portrait sports shot. Exposure seems a little bit hot (the legs and helment are over exposed) but other than that it is good - is his face really that orange (nose) or did you boost the saturation ? Nicely blurred background makes this effective. |

The Netby jjbeguinComment: a very different framing with all the grass. I'm not entirely sure it works for me - makes me feel very removed from the action. |
