Highlights and Lowlightsby SunnyHillsCirComment: At the first glance this image didn't attract me at all. On a third visit it called my attention... and it is interesting to notice not only the lighting but the hue variation. I think it would make it mor attractive it the envelopes were spread evenly to see how the color gradient would work - or maybe not... |

Kimmel Stavesby banmornComment: Amazing structure and reflections, very well framed. It makes me curious about the whole thing, and imagining how it would look like. |

Silent Tears by wildirisComment: Such a neat and simple image, yet sophisticated. The sharp focus along the "horizontal" line helps the viewer to gaze along all image. Nice that some threads aren't visible, and the structures seem to be floating... Very well done! |

Macawby bobnospumComment: Such a sharp image! Excellent details on the feathers' textures. Also interesting to note the layers of its beak. |

Feel Meby cabaComment: That's an intriguing image... I like the perspective and the effect of the strips reaching out to the sky. And I'm still trying to figure out what are they and how you got it... Well done! |

The L&N don't stop here anymoreby RunzamukkComment: I like the concept of the parallel lines and the distortion caused by the heat, adding some interesting dynamics to the image.
As it was noted, maybe if you had added an element of abandonment (e.g. an old shoe, or any trash) would be more appealing to voters. Also, you should have use the maximum size allowed for the image (800 pixels wide), which always help bring the details up. |
