Neat! You certainly had the right idea here, with the neat angles and the shallow DOF. Also the lighting is very nice. The composition does seem a little bit akward though... my eyes are a little confused and not really sure what to look at, despite the interesting angles. Photographing long, striaght subjects is very difficult though - good try! :)

Lol - very cute! (I'm partly biased though, as a cat-lover.) ;) The lighting is superb, and the composition and point of view are nicely set up. The splash of color in the kitty's eyes adds the perfect touch, making this photo almost classy.
