I like the idea, but I dont' like the lighting. Between the clipped highlights and shadows I think you are losing out on the essential parts of the photograph.

I am sorry to say but I just don't see a lot of photography in this one. I know it is expert editing, but it does say voters will rate based on the photographic nature and I don't see much. I am sorry but I can't rate this very high because I don't find the subject very interesting, or the photographic element to outweight the digital art.

At first I was going to say that a polarizer would have helped the glass relfection, then I thought maybe it adds to the picture. then I read borders and Nick Santora and decided that the reflections are a distraction that I would have avoided. I also think it would have been better if you didn't repeat the clones. The girl in white and pink are duplicated and that ruins the them for me. Still a clean image so I will vote higher than my comments my suggest.

I can see the challenge here, but I am not thrilled by this. I find it somewhat boring. If your goal was to show a battleworn sci-fi gun then you should have focused on that. Instead I see a bright spot with a gun next to it.

My eyes are all over the place on this one trying to find out what to concentrate on. I like the contrast in colors, but other than that the photo really doesn't speak to me, especially consideering the challenge.

I would have liked this more if your flying machines were in focus (well at least one of them) and the gtrass was more out of focus. Nice textures in your sky though.

F15 Eagle

Too bad this isn't the E model. The E model is a darker grey with no blue on it. It is also a two seat aircraft. The rear seat is occupied by the Weapons Systems Officer. Since the jet is capable of unleashing hell in both the air and on the ground the second seat is much needed.

Awesome shot James, the only thing I might would change is make sure your horizon is level. Doing so would also give the aircraft a greater angle of attack and make it all the more badass!
