01: "May The Fork Always Be With You!"by h2Comment: Day 1 with the forks is looking promising. All the usual things are excellent here, including the forky-looking border & the signature in the corner (looking very 'darkroom'). What I especially admire is the way you're using the outside edges of the composition to keep my eye moving. The long tines of the fork have a great affinity for the metal zipper but the light loves the fork best.I'm hoping you can do this every day. "D |

Cosmos Triptychby ephlnComment: Nice wwork! The first ones are the most time-consuming. After you do a few, it's easy. Adding text is fun, too. "D |

Day 29by jmritzComment: Stared at this closely for a while because of the chance to identify what it is, but gave that up in favor of enjoying the abstract qualities which are quite strong. The organic shapes contrast well against the brittle surfaces & the mystery of almost being able to identify what I'm lookiing at keeps me looking...& looking. Well done! |

Monarchsby MaryOComment: Sweet! & I like what you did w/the border, too. It's a great feeling to get a good shot of a wild butterfly. These are all 'keepers.' |

Purple Delphiniumby banmornComment: I've stared at this off & on all day trying to think of words to describe that shade of purple. Can't! It's unbelievably purple, fantastically purple, halucinogenically purple...and yet the center of this flower is so disappointing, so organic, so...believable. Lots of contradiction in this shot. That moldy green color in the center of the flower is....I don't have a word for that, either. |
