Heart's Passionby Donna-DeeComment: Oh I love that scarlet color. And the almost perfect symmetrical design. I opened it to max size & it's smooth & clear, nice sharp curves. This turned out really well. Good title. Thank you. |

cat under tree at sunsetby pointandshootComment: Awesome! for reasons I can't explain, but having something to do with the use of the blue, this looks very impressionist to me. Good job. |

coordinatesby NiallOTuamaComment: Hi Niall. I see you almost came in dead last with this (better luck next time). I love that you're shooting with your iPhone & have such an expressive style. I was your 10. Why? I admire photographs that do not pretend to be objective.
Take this Everyman descending the stairs, for example. At first glance, I did not see him. I noticed his coordinates. There are many people in this world, unknown, unnamed, moving along the edges of life. It's expected that a portrait will show the subject clearly, meeting our eyes through the lens. But not every spirit can or will submit to being captured that way. The untamed Everyman is honestly captured here, & I admire. Thank you. |

We reap what we sowby herfotomanComment: Hi Herman, this is wonderful. Finding the beautifully abstract in the ordinary is not an everyday occurrence. Good eye, to see this. Good work in getting the shot & PP. The message is also very clear, even without the title. The fragile-looking trees living at the lip of the abyss, the power & might of the earth in its abstract beauty. Maybe a little too abstract for voters, but still I'm glad you entered it (so I could admire it).Thank you. Message edited by author 2016-11-13 11:00:03. |
