This is such a fine picture - everything works here - the writing, the plants, the clour on the wall but especually the nonchalant way thbat kid has kicked one shoe off and stood like a catwalk model - from the overall feel of the shot i'm guessing this is from somewhere relatively non wealthy - it is a real change to see kids in far flung places portrayed as kids rather than starvation victims or objects of pity - 10 (aka the kiss of death)

I want to like this picture a lot - i jve been considering incorporating text or drawing in some of my pictures - but this one doesn't work for me - maybe a lower angle with the front pip in focus ? good idea though
