While the facial expression and the blurred colour background work very well together, I think the picture would be much better if the entirety of the dog was sharply in focus (or at least more of it anyway). Dunno if the shutter speed or the DOF is to blame (probably the latter?), but it'd be something I'd change.

Well done though, very cool picture :)

B&W works very well for this, and there are some nice textures in the picture. However, the centred composition is a bit dull, and the POV is unimaginative. And is the picture intentionally tilted clockwise?
Quite a nice shot, but I think the same idea could have been done more imaginatively. 6

Other than that, nice picture :)

I really like the DOF, composition and background. And the colours are very pretty. Not sure about the glare on the glass/plastic/whatever, maybe a polarizer would've helped?

Heh, I like the creations in the sky. For whatever reason, it makes me think of Oddysey 2001 and big black monolyths (no, I don't really understand why either...). The plane doesn't quite fit into the picture somehow, I agree with krnodil's comment.

Oh, and I beat you - my Free Study entry sucks more than yours :p
