The Long Walk Homeby FirstyComment: This is a nice image. I would have liked to see more of the guys legs. It would have shown more of his movement against the direction of the rain. I see the building is the 'pastel' color your wanting to show but your area of focus is on the guy who is not wearing pastel. The lighting is sufficently grey for the image's story but I don't quite feel it fits the theme of the challenge. |

Sweet Tart Spillby KaveranComment: The shadows appear to be a touch noisy. I love the colors, clarity, highlights and reflection on the surface. |

Pink Carnationby sfarrell23Comment: This is interesting. A high key watercolored effect. It's also unusual to have the empty space below. I like the unusual experimentation. I'm rating this high. |

Wearyby wildirisComment: Nice colors and water drops. There are no drops on the leaves. |

Pastel Candiesby snafflesComment: The fuzzy hairy surface these are on is very unapealing. Would have been best on a flat hard surface. It was a good attempt at a macro but didn't quite make it. Its out of focus and pixelated. I like the concept and the colors. |

Flightyby whiteroomComment: I have always admired the birds of prey! They are so elegant! The owls attention is really focused on her hands. The handler looks very young. Her hair matches the color tones of the birds feathers. I like the color range used here. At first I wasn't so sure but as I sat here looking at it, I have grown to like it. |

Friendly Gatheringby DelRioPhotoComment: Colors that we call 'clashing' are beautiful when nature mixes them. Is this from the butterfly bush? This is very lovely. One thing that catches my attention are the hot spots on the petals. A diffused light might have been better. |

Flower Girlby jaxedComment: Lovely eyes! Her eyes have the same color as the dress she is wearing. The lighting on her face is perfect as it has just enough shadow to define her features but no harsh shadows. I can see the shape of the reflector in her eyes. The only thing I could find for improvement is the hot spot on the flowers she is holding, but that is minor and doesn't grab the attention. Her skin is beautifully soft and perfect. A fabulous portrait! |

Restingby Dax-Comment: Beautiful Macro! I want a macro lens so badly! The Colors here fit the challenge very well. Love how the wings are so transparent. |

Pastel Dressby Herblacklist12Comment: I love old brick settings. This is unique with the opening at the top allowing light to come thru the ivy. The large floral on the dress matches the shape of the plant dropping down the hole. The leading lines in the image draw your eye to where her hands meet the brick. Which suggest she is possibly tied up. The look on her face adds to the idea she is there against her will. A slight change in hand position could have altered that perception. I don't care for many lower perspective with models as its usually looking straight up the nose. But I think you pulled it off well here. |
