Bark5198sm.jpgby YoungerComment: Very interesting to look at. The textures and the subtle differences in color make this worthy of a fave! |

Margretby unnevaComment: Beautiful! The chin area looks so much better on this one. Good focus on the eyes. Fantastic portrait.

Pretty Maggaby unnevaComment: I like the pose and the clarity on her face. The angle hides the creases around her eyes better, but I would like to see the eyes here. She has beautiful features. The chin area of the face feels a little washed out to me. Maybe a little color on the lips would balance it out.

Magga outsideby unnevaComment: The blue sky really makes the eyes pop. I love the wind blowing the hair too. It has good contrast and focus. The expression isn't bad. I like this one best of the group.

DSC_7503.jpgby PedroComment: I love the pose and expression on this one. I'm curious if your hitting her on the left (her right) with a blue light? Her hair and edge of the hat is really blue. I noticed it on her hair on the other shot too but it wasn't as strong as this one is. |

DSC_7488.jpgby PedroComment: I would enhanse the color of the eyes. Its so monochrome that they kinda fade out. With a stronger blue eye, I think it would pop.

both sidesby chimaeraComment: Good practice with lighting. The highlights and shadows really bring out the texture of the spiral. However, the composition doesn't show enough of either one of the shells to really catch my eye. The metal base is a bit distracting. Nothing really helps me understand what it is, and why its there. I am assuming its part of the lamp behind the shell.
I like the golden glow of the low light sources on the dark background. |

Fourth Grade Mathby IsaacComment: There is a grid in the background that is barely discernable. Not sure if you intended for that to show up or not. The plugs on the bulbs are to dark, can't make out any detail. The reflection on the '1' on the right looks the best. I would have liked it if was larger on the frame. A little fill light on the right side would have helped. |
