Curiously, the top of the building does seem to be in line. Maybe they constructed a wonky house. It's different.

I would probably have voted this as a 6. I like it in general, there's a nice level of detail, but the front of his trunk where it looks a bit overexposed is a distracting element.

No kidding, this is a fantastic shot. I'm sure in Free Study voting I would have given this a 7 or 8. Good level of focus, with the background falling off nicely, and a glint in his eye.

Okay I figure I will give my thoughts on this in return for my postcard comments. I reckon you got a fair score for this. I didn't vote in Postcards, but probably would have voted this either 6 or 5. I'm sure that the photo part of it is into 7 territory on its own, but the text is a bit distracting. It looks like you've tried to echo the vibrant colours of the birds in the text, when what would probably have been easier on the eye is something more muted, or, like someone else mentioned, something overlaid on a corner of the photo.

But if you followed my advice you'd have scored 4.3, so you did well ;)
