stockings have been around for centuries. Pantyhose was invented in 55.

I'm usually not crazy about added grain, but here it works really well. I love your pose here! The comments below saying that this could be straight out of a Sears catalog are spot on. The curtain behind you is just perfect. Good job, teammate!

Nice wheels, Becky! Feels a lot like 1955 to me. I do think seams were still 'happening' about then. I'd just noticed women's legs and the seams made great leading lines... see - I was a dirty old man before my voice changed!

i am taking it that you have grain by intent, it adds to the aging of the photo to suite the period eg. stool, shoes, stockings, dress and hairstyle. well done

Could be right out of a 1955 Sears Roebuck catalog. The added grain does an effective job of reminding me of older newspaper print. I love the stockings, the retro-looking foot stool, and the overall composition of this image, although, the model's position looks a bit forced, as though you are looking UP just a bit too much.

I truly do like this image, but I am trying to find an association between the product and the year 1955. If you have time, I would love to be enlightened. This is my first pass, and I will score this a 6 for now and revisit this image later. Good luck.
