DAY 11: Sing Out (read details)by ShutterPugComment: Lmao, this is great. I thought my dogs looked funny when howling but this guy takes the cake. Love how those eyes are shut like he's squeezing every last bit of breath through his throat.
edit - got your pm. No eyes! Tragic. Birth or accident? Message edited by author 2007-07-11 19:16:11. |

Buddy Happy Faceby maxaz1Comment: The smaller of my dogs has little fat lumps around that we were also advised to ignore. This guy looks happy. Glad the biting nonsense was fixed. |

Spending Quality Timeby maxaz1Comment: I think this is a nice pose of the dog and the guy. Maybe a shallower dof to blur out the yard and put the focus on the subject(s) would step it up a bit. |

View from a moving trainby Bruce_the_RobertComment: Some mechanical monstrosity, shown out of any sort of context with numerous distractions obscuring the view and reflections showing up on a window between the camera and the subject. Sorry, I will agree that DPC challenges tend to be pretty narrow-minded in what sort of photo floats to the top but snapping a shot of something you happen to be passing by on a train isn't going to be interesting to most people on or off the site.
If this sort of image interests you, it begs the question why you wouldn't have gone back to it or something like it and put the effort into capturing it as you would like others to see it rather than just taking what chance gave you as you cruised by at 100kph. Free studies have a 30 day submission period after all. |

A Midsummer Dreamby LalliSigComment: Think the high key effect is a little over the top. Just a tad, but its my opinion. Otherwise a lovely shot and what a gorgeous model. |
