Philly Railroadby salmiakkiComment: Interesting angle on the sign. Maybe with more contrast and sharper focus, this would've scored better. |

Cross Countryby JudiComment: I like the angle of the road through the picture while keeping the tracks horizontal. Makes it more of a shot about how the railroad interacts with its surroundings. |

Next Stop - Anywhere!by whitewolfComment: Congrats on the personal best! :)
The colors are really nice, and I like the different angle from the typical "shoot from the middle of the tracks into the distance" shot. |

Days gone byby MelethiaComment: Well, you certainly beat your expectation! :)
I'd call this a "good seeing it" shot. It's a nice arrangement of colors and contrasts, as you mentioned in your notes. |

w!nston !n the ra!nby annasenseComment: This is a glorious shot. And the title with the exclamations! What a fantastic way to reflect the slashing rain in the photo. :) |

Oxymoron Challenge - Drawing a Blankby dallasduxComment: Well, you certainly connected with me on this shot! It reflects exactly how I felt on bokeh III until inspiration hit the day before it was due.
Nice one!
Now, as a photo, it looks very oversharpened, meaning there are white "halos" along just about every edge. Also, the colors are very muted. DPC seems to like higher contrast. |

Yep - what she said. The closeup is nice, but try to find something of special interest.
Keep shooting and experimenting! :) |
