Contemplating One More Tidbitby MaryOComment: What a great study of this tiny bird! It really tells a story and is beautifully photographed and processed. I don't think we have them here in Florida so it's a treat to see the little guy! |

Sand Hill 1by MelonMusketeerComment: Pretty composition with fantastic focus and color on the Sand Hill Crane! I like the way he is entering the frame.
These birds are crazy, but you gotta love them! :) I see a family of three at least once a week on my way to work. They just stroll across the street like they own it! All the cars stop and people smile as they cross. I wish they would be more careful, but they have become accustomed to civilization and are here to stay. |

eagle9.JPGby icu1965Comment: I would be so thrilled to get an eagle shot like this! Such a nice simple background. Interesting that he is looking over the frozen water like he forgot where he put his ice skates. :) Others have given good suggestions. Great capture! |

Greyby scooter97Comment: Very dark and foreboding. Looks like an illustration from a story book. You can see the snow and they look cold and unhappy. Composition is great! |

Did you hear the one about the Great Blue Heron? by fldaveComment: NNice that you captured these 2 birds in different colors. I usually only see the white ones. Good layering of grass, water plants and flowers and water at the top. It really gives you a feel of the natural habitat! They really do seem to be talking! :) |

Fracturedby SaraRComment: Aren't experiments fun? Water reflections are a great fun to look at and a great way to get some interesting abstracts! I'll have to try this sometime.
Nice sharpness and great white-on-blue colors! Love the border! I second the idea to turn it upside down... as another experiment! :) |

Wild Turkeyby MelonMusketeerComment: How cool is that to see this gal in her native habitat! Nice find! You even got her in action! She looks a bit skinny. There aren't too many uglier birds on the planet! :) |
