I kinda like the blur on the scarf but maybe would back it off slightly, also the blur on the face and especially the hair does not work for me. I would only blur and soften near where the hair meets the scarf. Overall I like the tones and sharpness around the eyes.

Overall the rose is very nice, some improvement IMHO might be the crop it is somewaht centered and just lacks a little pizazz. The lighting is OK but the leaves on the right side are a little bright and stand out more than they probably should.

I read the comment from photom1946 and think it is un-called for, this is a great site to come and learn from some of the best but unfortunatly some people put out some really useless comments that come off like insults.

Overall the image is pretty basic and needs some tweaking, I do like the idea of the window for the contrast but it helps when the subject is more interesting, something like a odd shaped bottle or candle. Also maybe try some different angles, I would possibly go ever so slightly higher to get more detail in the window sill.
