The key wording is if, Tom mentioned the shot has been validated so the if portion is no longer a question. Just because you can not accomplish this effect does not make it illegal. Why is it so hard to congratulate someone and trust they were within the rules until SC makes the call!
Again great job Tom! |

Sky Blueby delinComment: Nice image and for the record I think the DQ was not justified! To me the original image looks to be intact and no more shape has been created, when the original color becomes the shape we would need to DQ a lot more images. Weak case by SC at best and in my opinion a bad and inconsistent use of the rules. |

In motion out of whackby inuyashakibaloveComment: Originally posted by fldave: Although motion blur can certainly show "action", I don't usually see gym lockers very active. Nice color though. |
Although I agree with f1dave it can show the camera movement so this technique can be used but to be effective I would add something to the shot to so why the third person (camera) is moving to complete the story. You could add a person that appears to have pushed the camera person back or a spider causing you to jump to help lead the voter to the conclusion the movement was the camera rather than the lockers. Hope thwe information helps. |

So the leaves fallby inuyashakibaloveComment: Sorry to see you got a DQ, I think the the image on the lower left would have done nicely, I like the fence leading into the leaves. |

Signs of Springby ace flymanComment: Awesome shot, it kind of looks like it is trying to go yet the tail says stop...lol.
What I really like are the colors, the branches are a little distracting but these little guys never quite pose where you would like. |
