I love Fry's, we don't have them here but when I lived in California it was always fun to shop at Fry's. I like how you framed the shopper under the UFO, the photo and the guy under the UFO kind of have a 60 feel which works well for the shot.

You caught the surfer is a really interesting stance, the shot has some real drama which is great. The down side is the image looks to be way over sharpened which hurts the overall appeal. 5

with the shoreline being centered I think it would help the shot to have the shoreline level, the lights for the buildings also appear like UFO's in the sky which distract's from subject of the shot. Not really sure what you could do about the lights except maybe take the shot at dawn or dusk so the building outlines are still there so the lights are not just dots in the sky.
