Moon Light

Comment:
The moon is a little bright but not overly so behind the mass of tree branches. The placement of the moon is good. The branches are not very sharp, and the sky is fairly noisy. Not a bad image, just nothing 'wow' about it either.

Moonlight Mosque

I'm not sure if this is IR or just post processing. The top of the mosque looks good, the color seems to fit and contrasts nicely against the blue. Also fairly sharp. Unfortunately it's the lower part of the photograph I'm not too fond of. The tree on the left looks like it's been badly masked with the pink at the top and the white through the branches. The middle tree has an unnatural-looking hue, and the pink in the sky surrounding that tree also seems quite unnatural. It may have appeal to some people, but it just looks odd to me, sorry.

The clouds are good, the power lines have good leading lines, but the picture is badly out of focus.

Great shot! A little soft in places, but the head is very clear, and the wings show motion. Ideally it would have been better with a little more room above the wings, but I know how that's not always possible as they zoom around. Could possibly do with some levels play as it seems a little dark, but not overly so.

This is certainly action but there are a few things that bother me about it. The water aspect is good, and with these type of shots I know that you can hardly control them so these are just some suggestions about what could have been 'better'. The frame crops out the front of the board which gives it a disjoiinted feel, and also slightly unbalanced with the space on the right. The surfer looks odd, it doesnt look like it's a silhouette but you cant see his face and he just looks like a black form of a man, very unusual.

This is a nice serene scene, although I do see the slight ripples of the water behind the boat so there is some action too. The sunset is jsut enough to add a nice color and set the atmosphere. The only suggestion would be to crop a little off the water so the horizon line isnt directly in the middle, which would put more emphasis on the boat as well.

Interesting idea and shot. Reminds me of those executive toys with the balls that you swing. Colors are great, the natural framing of the poles is nicely presented too. A good technical shot showing the dynamics of action.

Great composition and wonderful stop action on the water. The flesh tones are wonderfully even and well lit, and the overall shot is very sharp. Good idea and good execution.

I like the choice of black and white, it sets the mood very well. I get the feeling of action with the cycle moving, but there is also a feeling of calm as well. Sharpness and dof are good. Very atmospheric.

Colors are great, sharpness is good, shows action very well. If I were to nitpick I'd probably say more room on the right and less on the left, but still an excellent shot.
