contrary to what kiwinick said, I happen to really enjoy the selective focus. The first word that came to mind when I saw this image was "exquisite" and I'm really shocked that it didn't do much better. The bright colors are gorgeous.

For what it's worth, my vote was a 7. I thought it to be a good image with good perspective and lighting. I can see what giantmike is referring to in terms of the composition. Maybe a tighter crop would've been better and it would've shown us more detail in the actual beavers.

I still really liked this image especially due to their facial expressions. Very cute.
