Postcardby GermaineComment: Once, many years ago, I rode the old wooden roller coaster there on the boardwalk. Is it still operating? I either never knew or forgot (far more likely) there was an island. Makes an nice backdrop for your postcard. |

Day 1: Road Workby cginoComment: I really like your processing and am going to have to try out the LucisArt filter. I've never even heard of the Imagenonic Portraiture filter (is that a reference to Imogen Cunningham?) What does that do? Guess I'll try that one, too. One of the things I love about todays lenses is the auto focus that allows us to just point in the general direction and, "click", we've go a great shot. Sure worked here. Congrats on the new position. I love Sante Fe. Great place to live and/or work. |

Day 02 Stormy Watersby slaaksoComment: Ouch on the ex problems. That stuff is never easy, but, take it from one who knows, it does get better with time. Wonderful you can express your feelings through your pictures. It comes across. |

Day-02-IMG_0718.jpgby JerseyGenieComment: I like how you've captured the essence of this person's personality without even showing her. She has an open door policy and trusts everyone to come in. She has a lot going on, but she keeps it orderly and accessible. She's woodsy, but prefers living in the midst of others. She has her dark side, but is bright and cheery most of the time. How'd I do? |

Day-2.jpgby twilson944Comment: Great candid moment and the fact that it is in B&W makes it seem even more documentary in nature. Nice use of contrast to add to the sense of discovery of a clandestine moment. |

Day 02 - Dunesby hajekaComment: Beautiful shot Henk-Jan (I hope that's right). Great job on the HDR. Love all the textures in this - the foreground grass is so wispy, and the fluffy clouds feel so soft and gentle. |

Day_2_Tug Of Warby ApertureAshleyComment: Nice capture of a moment in the lives of dogs. Your shot is of the essence of their relationship in that moment. It depicts their playfulness, intensity, and focus on their desire to be top dog and get to eat the toy. |

verreaux eagleby sulamkComment: He looks very similar to the Turkey Vultures we have here. I can almost see the wind catching his wings. |
