Spring Shower Through Old Glassby vtruanComment: I love the outside background. The colors and glass pane distortions effect on the house is really great, but I find that your inclusion of the silhouetted window frame detracts and adds little to the enjoyment of this otherwise pleasureable image. Maybe increasing cam distance to the window and showing more detail in the frame would have had a better effect for me. |

Rainy Dayby paganiniComment: Nice abstract, but I think some contrasting color in the blinds would have added some interest. |

Train Keep-A-Rollin'by TommyMoe21Comment: Exposure and color is very good but the image, on the whole, is too busy for my tastes. Also, the sky and railroad sign in the background appear to be distorted and too bad you included what appears to be the visor in the top left hand corner, which I find a bit distracting. |

Mountain Viewby trainComment: A picturesque background that lacks contrast. Also, I wish the frame of the window extended to the bottom and more of the top of the image. Cabling in the upper left hand corner is distracting. |

West Viewby katlynComment: Though your window is hard to see (it appears to be a black frame in the left side and top), this composition is absolutely lovely! I love the scene with the dark, but detailed foreground juxtaposed against the overexposed background landscape. Great capture, but the image on the whole suffers from image degradation, from what, I"m not sure. Exposure is good, but focus is lacking and it's hard to see the person leaning against the tree in the midground. Was this image greatly enlarged with in camera zoom or in software editing? Despite it's shortcomings, high score given. |

The Shining Crescentby tyt2000Comment: This is a very interesting and compelling photograph. I love the tones of the view outdoors, but it's a bit dark and hard to tell what the structure is exactly. The silhouetted frame of the door/window is also very interesting. I think this is a special photograph. |

MK Bay Marina through a truck windowby spillerComment: Colors are equisite and composition is quite good although your horizon line is very slanted. Subject matter is compelling. Contrast is a bit too high and even though there is a small bit of window showing in the bottom right, I really don't feel it's enough to meet the challenge theme. |

Wishful Thinkingby ddmckinney1954Comment: High noise levels blemish this equisite cat portrait. Also, leveling of the window frame within the borders of the image is a bit haphazard, and I would have preferred to see the top and left sides of the window frame too. Still, I don't think I've ever loved a cat picture as much as this. Excellent capture! |

Sunday Sunrise by UNCLEBROComment: I love the soft pastel colors and the silhouetted rocks in the foreground. This image has a wonderful surrealistic feeling and the bird in the lower left corner is perfect. Well done. |
