… and I have to rough it on this mo-o-o-o-ost uncomfortable perch!by basia03Comment: hahaha...great concept! I love the idea. Very original...a bird's eye view. It does appear to have been heavily post processed. I don't like the colors at all and find the lighting to be too harsh. Also, I would have preferred the focus to be on the sleeping dogs rather than on the bird cage bars. |

rewind...by AesculapiusComment: Composition is very appealing but lighting is too harsh, or maybe not harsh enough. The shadows lack in solidity and weaken the image. Not sure I get the connection to the challenge theme. |

Under a Palmby NukktaComment: Even with the blown out highlights in the lower tree trunk and the not so original POV, I like the take on this night shot. The tree is contrasted well with the night sky. |

Swissssssh!by soccerdadComment: This is certainly an extreme angle of view, which does add a certain amount of abstractness to it. Well composed, and colors are good, but the image lacks in focus. Though it's ok to show the ball blurred and in motion, the rest of the image, like the backboard and hoop, are not in focus and weaken the impact of this otherwise potentially good photo. |

Mysterious lonleynessby asijComment: I like the perspective in this picture and how it leads the eye to the oddly sitting/placed house and beyond that up the far mountain. The large bolder in the left foreground also helps to balance the image and bring the eye back. The image has an appearance of digital art, maybe something done in Bryce, or similar, but I still like it very much. |

Passionate Intensity....an emotional perspectiveby grigrigirlComment: Beautiful (both the lady and the pose) dramatic, anguished take on the challenge theme. Lighting is excellent and I love the way the black clothing recedes into the dark background and divides the body into different sections, adding to the impression of conflict. The tight crop is also apt. Very well done. |

On a Rollby bgartside47Comment: Wow! This is fantastic. Meets the challenge well and is so creative. Color/tones here are wonderful and I love the background texture. Does this border on digital art? 10, regardless. Well done. |

Step up-Step downby justineComment: Wonderful image! I love the "dizzying" effect of the relatively large area of the carpet contrasting with the sleek lines of the sidewalk and bannister. Colors are very vivid as well. Very nicely composed. |

Real Royal Reflexion!by sergutComment: Well composed image, even with the cetnral placement of whatever that thing is (mirror? TV? ), but it certainly is the main subject here, although the rest of the photo adds a lot of interest as well. This, to me, has a genuine surreal quality with it's desolate feel. Must have been shot early on a cold morning. Even the shape of the hatch in the sidewalk is reflected in the shape of the mirror. I like the POV here, maybe the most unique in the challenge. Well done! |
