Very, very interesting composition. You give the viewer much to think about. Is this the groom? Is it a spurned suitor mourning his loss? It this someone who harbored a deep yet secretly held love for the bride?

Composition and oddly off-centered perspective are very nice. B&W is perfect mood for this image. Unsure if the smooth post-processing of it adds or detracts from the overall composition. Perhaps you wanted to give it an antiseptic look. This image would be just as powerful without it.

Exceptional quality and tonality. Technical quality is fantastic and the decision having the center brightened works well in this situation. Great job. The boder style does not add greatly to the composition for DPC challenges but is perfect for an image destined for the web. High scoring image, for sure.

You don't have to be an animal lover to appreciate the exceptional capture and quality of this image. Beautifully captured. If the DOF were just a little deeper you could have got the nose in a little sharper focus. This will be one of the highest placing images in the challenge.
