Birds and bugs (particularly butterflys) tend to score high in bokeh challenges. That will be true again in this one. The way your yellow background highlights the bird is a terrific example how bokeh can support the main subject. The bird is caught in wonderful pose.

Call me silly but when thinking of bokeh, images like this one are what comes to my mind. The bokeh makes the image. The technical quality of this photograph is top notch from composition to clarity. One of the best submissions to this challenge.

Beautifully done. Great use of circular bokeh supporting your main subject. You might consider cropping about 25% off the left side and about 12% off the bottom to offset the mini-pumpkin rather than leaving it centered and this will also better highlight the best part of your circular bokeh. This will give the composition a more eye pleasing look and balance the bokeh against the pumpkin.

Wonderful composition and great take on the challenge theme. It doesn't feature 'circles of confusion' but the background bokeh provides ominous, if not pleasing, background bokeh that dramatically supports the main subject - despair. Black and white is perfect.

Just Another Flower Bokeh

Like the color and the idea behind this image. Having the centered flower in sharpest focus is a good idea.

Soft focused foregrounds generally are not as pleasing as soft focused backgrounds. They tend to be more distracting. In your case the 'quality' of the bokeh is better in the foreground than the background. However, that being said, I'd still consider cropping about 20% off the bottom even though the background bokeh is on the harsh side.

Pleasing greens, nicely composed, good leaf sharpness. Color and composition are the strengths of this image. The only down side is the irregularities along the leaf border in the bokeh in the upper right. That will hurt you with some voters.
