Cork Screwby JackoComment: Exceptional image. It is a great concept for this challenge for only a tiny fraction of the image to be in focus and the tip of the corkscrew is perfect for this purpose. |

Temptation by stickylizardComment: Well concieved and technically good.
What makes this image good for this challenge is the relationship between the main subject and the dog waiting to eat it up. Like this one, the best images should relate the shallow focused main subject in a unique way with the out-of-focus background (or foreground as te case may be). |

Every Droplet counts in the Distilleryby Harz_JoergComment: Unique concept and exceptionally well done. Like the water drop technique this uses refraction within a water drop to create a sharp reversed image but this has to be much harder to capture this way. Kudos to you for this wonderful image.
This should be a top finisher in this challenge |

Archer Relic - Sagittariusby LoudDogComment: This image would have done better if the shaft of the arrow had been positioned to come from one of the corners.
For example, the shaft of the arrow could come from the upper right corner and the arrowhead itself made to be centered on the lower left intersection point of the ROT horizontal and vertical lines. |

Chairman of the Board by crabappl3Comment: Congratulations! Yours was the only one of my personal top 3 to actually finish there.
Your win is particularly satisfying because spot editing out the cage was instrumental to your victory. This is proof that the new rules work to make an image the "best it can" be without destroying the original photograph's integrity.
Great job. |
