There are not enough superlatives to describe how great this image is. Outside of being slightly dark on the left side of the image this is perfection. Outstanding, wonderful work. A very memorable image that transcends the challenge and moves into fine art photography. Kudos to you.

Excellent perspective and framing. A very nice image with good DOF. Quality is above average. As an advanced challenge you might consider cloning out the building on the lower left of the Washington Monument and the cars just in front of it.

Razor sharp focus and good color lighting through the leaf. The shadow on the main leaf is a distraction.

Excellent composition and pose. Nucely captured. Desaturation to red for the hat and vest adds little to the composition. Perhaps if you desaturated everything but your subjects hands it would be more in keeping with the challenge theme.
