Wahkeena Fallsby LucidLotusComment: The soft focus of the water is fine, but the image lacks side detail to provide both interest and a setting for the flow. |

Sedonaby TessComment: Good subject and composition. Image is not in the high contrast style of Adams, but it is really the overall focus of the image that is its main issue. It seems both oversharpened and out of focus at the same time. This is common with digital landscapes. I know, I take landscapes all the time and all mine are like that. It is probably the camera's internal processor doing it to you. |

Sacramento Mountains and Yucca Plantby drgsoellComment: Good adams-like landscape shot selection and it has nice clouds in the sky. The image, however is very soft focused. Adams is known for his tack sharp images with very deep DOF. |

Closerby eckoeComment: Got the proper adams style high contrast image. The picture is not in good focus and there appears to be some strange type of noise on the left of the tree. |

Distant Treeby mpalitangComment: Nice greys but not really in the Adams style which cover the full range of tones to solid black that usually occupies a significant part of the frame. Very soft focused. |

Sandia Peak Tramwayby ElGordoComment: Great idea, wonderful setting and is done in the style of Adams... but the overall technical quality of this image is poor. |

Longs Peakby dacrazyrnComment: On the surrealistic side for adams, probably because of NeatImage, but a wonderfully toned image. This should finish very high in voting. |

Vasquez Rocks by TelehubbieComment: What a wonderful shot! Very well done technically, incredible detail and great tones. Ansel himself would be proud of this shot. This should win a ribbon. |
