I'm realizing Ostriches and Emus make such great subjects - I've never seen one I don't like. This is exceptional, though - the pure black background really ads to your composition as all the attention goes to the ostrich's face, and especially his eye, which is perfectly crisp and in focus. Great shot!

I love the surreal quality to this picture - the colors are so dreamy. I also agree with the other commentator who suggested cropping out some of the rocks on the bottom, as the focus should be on the water.

I absolutely love this shot... the colors in the sky are extraordinary and the fact that they're reflected in the water on the ground makes this photo just that much more interesting. The firemen and truck are perfectly crisp and in focus. I think the only thing that would've made me love it more would be to have a fireman in the foreground facing the camera, like an occupational portrait.
