The right eye is at the same level as that (fantastic) lens and is at exactly the same sharpness. The rest of the face toward the left side drifts into softness leaving the main focal point on the lens. Other than that a good portrait!

The feel of distance to the subject works well here with the long lead up in the foreground. Maybe I would have taken just a smidgeon more off the front, but that is just me. Super sepia toning and framing, this will do very well. Bumping from 8 to 9.

Negative points first: The lighting is kind of flat with no shadows, I would have liked to have seen the lighting set up a little differently bringing in a few shadows amplifying the facial contours. Also I would have gone about the processing on the eyes a bit differently. The eye whites should contain a little more detail, here they come over a touch too white and most of the detail has been washed out. And the positive for last :) Skin tones are good, no drift into magenta or green as I see often. The composition is good with the negative space on the left. Maybe a little fan blowing the hair a little into the negative space might have worked too, but that is just me, I like seeing movement on shots like this. Focus and sharpness is good and not exaggerated. Bumping from 7 to 8 :)

Cindi this is you isn't it? This is very good! I think if you had had a strong fan or something blowing to get your hair up and flying it would have brought in some movement and relieved the static feel to it. But still, as it is, it is impressive!
