laptopby kosmikkreeperComment: This is definitely the kind of photo found in stock photography catalogues. You 've composed this image excellently with a lot of extra room for text or logos. The only thing that bothers me is that grayness in the top right hand corner, somehow it makes the laptop seem as if it has just sneezed :-) Good one! |

Crumbling Worldby jodiecostonComment: This is one of my 2 favourites for this week's challenge. It is ideal for stock photography and you have left room at the top for some kind of text or company logo. If I were company marketing manager I would use this one! Good job 9 from me. |

World of Wireby GeneralEComment: This would probably do quite well in the new challenge, leading lines! The green/orange effect really comes through here and gives this image charachter. I could see this photo in a magazine of presentation for sure. Good job! |

Cancerby vtruanComment: This is so sad and you can even see the sadness in his eyes. You've captured this well it really stirs emotions. Challenge excellently met here, good one. |

His Despair Our Gainby VisionComment: This is a well composed photo and the unusual cropping actually enhances it in my opinion. I had to think about it for a while to get the relevance to the "despair" challenge, but I got it in the end from your title, the nails and the cross image. Good luck on this one and I hope everyone else will understand it. |

From Despair To Whereby Geo_GriffinComment: I wanted to do something similar to this one but couldn't think of anything which would create a kick as you have done here. You've made a simple shot create an impact. Good one, I wish I could read a little more of the note though, I can't really make out if it is a suicide note, or is it the reason for committing suicide. A "Dear John" or something? I would also have prefered the whole note to be in focus, the foreground part is just a tad blurry as are the pills on the far right. It's a great crop and well thought up image, good one. |

Self Potraitby adriannayusofComment: This is a pretty picture and the small smile you have on your face shows no sign of "despair" In fact you look quite happy. I especially like the crop you have here, with the head in the top left hand corner of your image. But it doesn't meet the challenge at all as far as I see. |

I, Despairby NebularusComment: Wow macabre for sure, but it's the challenge and you got "despair" jumping out of your photo, good job! I especially love the minimal lighting you have here which gives your image that extra dose of "depression" with all that darkness. |

Flu Seasonby dsidwellComment: Well done! That is a real look of despair which couldn't really be acted! I take it from your title that she has the flu, poor girl. The crop is very here tight but it doesn't really matter at all in this image, in fact I find it does it credit. It looks exactly like the shot of the woman lying dead on the floor in Hitchcock's film "Psycho". Choice! |

Looking Down the Barrel...by briphotoComment: Wo, scarey! I wondered if anyone would do one like this and you are the only one I have seen with a gun! I like the little tilt of the gun which really does a lot for the whole photo. I think without that tilt this photo wouldn't have half the impact it does. The lighting is ideal, I love it. You'll do well with this one, good luck. |
