must have done somethingby posthumousComment: Cute shot. Sorry, that doesn't tell you much does it? The use of light and the effect of the overexposure - all very nicely answering to the challenge :)- are good but it doesn't make that extra shout to me. It's a nice portrait but I would think there's room for a fair bit of ambition in this challenge. |

East Facing Windowsby bvyComment: Yepp - this is the blowout. It's a little hard to say what overexposure bring to the shot. Maybe some more contrast in the harder lines might help it as an abstract, along with making some more out of the complementary soft shape at the top. I think it's what we'd call a good effort. |

Arumby em3Comment: First glance - nothing. Second glance - something. And it goes on getting better. This is pastel shaded porcelain of the highest quality - well framed, too. Colour me impressed (but with a soft brush and a dexterous hand). |

Just Passing Throughby tfarrell23Comment: You've achieved an effect here that I neither expected nor would have thought of. (I'm talking about within the challenge parameters). Hats off. |

Overexposed Cityscapeby jdenniqueComment: It's a little hard to see how this picture is better now than it would have been with a more 'correct' exposure. Still, it meets the challenge by being overexposed, and that's not all bad. |

Sunflowerby CEJComment: If the idea is to make the flower the sun then it doesn't work because the light is around it rather than from it. Certainly overexposed, which is oddly unusual in this challenge - I'm just wondering about the effect and how much it helps. I think this was a tough challenge. |

Comfort of the Sunby ladyComment: More like bad lighting than overexposure. I'm getting sunlight but not he warmth of it... |

Flower Fairyby GeeeComment: The only thing(s) overexposed is the overblown highlights on the dress. It looks as though a lot of that has been brought about by screwing up the contrast in post processing. That and the sharpening has spoiled the skin tones and wiped out any ethereal effect you might have had there. |
