Week 1: Bad Omenby socalsteveComment: Good lighting good model and arrangement. A different composition with maybe less dead space, or with the dead space concentrated on one side or another... (just me thinking out loud) |

SeaTac Airportby pjangelComment: Maybe an iphone shot is the maximum real deal for a shot like this. (Wait'l you see what I get on my spyphone). I'm going to see all sorts of pictures of some place I've never been and probably won't ever go. Neat, huh? I think it's interesting that, while this picture may be short on a couple of camera- and photo- technical things, it may bring us in there even more just because of that kind of quality. |

IMG_1024PAW.jpgby dsternerComment: Looks every inch a good friend. I guess the lighting is not exactly portrait standard, but snapshots are a genre and I think it works for this. |

Spokane Falls at 6 Degreesby jhess77Comment: Oh, I'm looking forward to more from this series. We'll get to see the seasons! Water and ice and snow is one hell of a mix - very hard to do justice to in a photograph. This is good. |

Untitledby cynthiannComment: Bird portrait - not much of a catalogue shot for the encyclopedia of seagulls, but a great bit of gymnastic anthropomorphics.
You're off to a - erm - flying start? |

Week 1 - Paradiseby AnnComment: Magnificent flowers, aren't they? According to what you're saying about trying again for more d.o.f., maybe either those yellow petals in the back need to be more in focus, or an off-camera flash to one side could fetch out the water droplets...
But this is a very nice example of urban stuff. |
