The 13th Day...the aftermath.by annependletonComment: Reading your notes explains how effectively you have captured the mood. Kudos - right on the money. There there :)
Maybe you shouldn't have taken this, because when you look back you only remember the fun.
Anyway, truly excellent picture. |

After All, Mourningby xianartComment: The hands themselves make this shot special. Maybe turned up the contrast in them? The sweater adds nothing useful and the negative space...well, negative space is negative space and it's right enough to have it there, I suppose. I'm thinking that some sort of textured and generally recognisable thing like - brick wall, grass, sky...
Excuse me for thinking out loud, but the hands are as good as that praying icon thing (nearly).
Anyway, 6 for what you have. |

She'll Be Grown Before You Know Itby PhotologistComment: Beautifully set up diagonal. Tangential to procrastination, maybe. The adult spoils the emotional effect of the picture. It's worth 7 or 8 without the people, just as a picture. 6 |

Smile for me Pussycat!by JudiComment: So good the way the only eye contact is from the reflection. Slightly unreal blues there (reflecting from stuff you whited out?) Nea pic. |

Pining for the cedarby snafflesComment: Brown Ribbon! Way to go Hotshot - I always wanted one of those. (I always wanted blue ribbons and universal accolade, but sometimes we have to be a little practical). The picture idea is fascinating of itself. I dare say if you edited the hell out of it, say with a couple of sharper silhouettes/details of the branches, both angled slightly upwards with lots of sky space above them . . .
Still n all - move on :) |

UH-OHby MichaelCComment: Mars? No, they don't have clouds on Mars. I know, you used the freedom of the new rule set to impose a cloudy sky on a Martian landscape.
Seriously unreal - 8 |
