I really like the shot, but wish there wasn't so much darkness and that we could see the ritual up close.

Very nice use of DOF. :) The lighting you've used gives a very "soft" feel to the cup and plate - very nice.

Great idea and great photo. :) My only possible suggestion for improving this would have been to bring the highlights down a bit.

Excellent way to tie the themes together! :) My only possible suggestions for this shot would be to use a much deeper DOF to bring everything into focus and to maybe bring the contrast up just a little. Great shot though. :)

I think this shot is very well lit. :) I like how the green stem on the left seems to fade into the darkness.

I like that this is an original idea and that no one else attempted this one. :) My only possible gripe with this shot is that I personally feel a slightly deeper DOF should have been used to bring the whole shell into sharp focus.

I really like the angle of this shot. :) The contrast is also very nice. However, I'm not quite sure how the title directly relates to a superstition or urban legend (though, being in a graveyard, I could imagine that it probably correlates to one ;) ). I'm sure the description will make it much more clear. Sometimes it can be a real pain in the ass to try and convey a complex idea with a title...

I like the idea and the composition. :) The detail on the fingers is awesome! The only thing I can point out is that it seems a bit too bright and maybe needed a slight levels adjustment.
