It's a bit of a stretch for the challenge description, but is such a great shot I'm not sure it matters. :) The tones in the image are cool and calming, and the flowing water give a feeling of serenity.

Awesome shot. :) The title couldn't be more fitting for this photo. Nice blues in the sky and greens in the grass and trees. And climbing to the top of that hill for this shot shows some major dedication as well. :D Great job!

Whoa!!! What a KILLER shot! :) The haze in the air and the silhouette by the fence make this truly look like a vortex. The star-like light on the left almost makes the "vortex" appear to be in the middle of a solar system somewhere. :) Okay, well technically it is, but you know what I mean. :D

BEAUTIFUL shot. Serene, calm, great use of duotones. Excellent composition, and the title is perfect for this photo. However, how does this relate to the search for Steve? ;)

I really like how the footprints lead you into the scene. :) However, the top-right corner of the frame looks overly-burnt to me. Nice tones in the sand, but I think the sky could have benefited from a hue/saturation adjustment or possibly a complete desaturation of the sky. Great concept though. :D

Nice composition and a good photo, but I instantly found myself searching for Steve Davidson's likeness in the frame. To me, the challenge was intended to convey the search for or discovery of stdavidson. Like I said - good shot, but it could have met the challenge a little better in my opinion.

I really like the duotones in this shot. :) The objects perfectly convey the search for Steve and are arranged to form a pleasing composition. The lighting is very nice and the sharp focus provides lots of detail. The only thing I could suggest to improve upon this would have been to remove the object on the right side of the frame (just above the helmet), as it's only partially in the frame and we can't really tell what it is. Absolutely wonderful shot though. :D
