I really like the shot too, two suggestions - one the skin tones are a bit flat, and two the teeth could be a bit whiter. I really like the pose though and most importantly you caugt her spirit. Great shot.

Now I'll speak of something I know almost nothing about... but here goes. In his book "Mastering Color Digital Photography" by Michael Freeman ( agreat book btw) he speaks about various color combos including orange and blue. He says "because orange is twice as luminous as blue the two colors work best in a ratio of 2 blue to 1 orange" (I'm paraphrasing here.) I wonder, if using this as a guide if your orange were a bit smaller, to allow the area ratio described above, the picture may be more effective. It appears that you are closer to 1 to 1.

Anyway, just a thought, nice job.
