Ah, Berkeley. I lived in a basement on Durant just a block south of Telegraph while I was attending Cal. The tilt to the left might be lost on those unfamiliar with Berkeley politics. There are a lot of distracting elements in the photograph, such as the heavy clouds and the lead car (being in better light than the bumper sticker seller). It does capture how I remember that side of Berkeley.

This is a great photograph; I like how the boy is lit by light from the window, as he and the giraffe ponder what could have been were it not for the window separating them. However this private, secluded moment doesn't capture the essence of a main road. As others have noted, in a different challenge this would have scored higher.
