Hannah restsby ZeissmanComment: The composition, contrast and textures are very nice here, but it really needs some more of baby's face (almost entirely hidden in shadow. I can make out most of her nose and a little of her mouth, but her other eye is just not showing). Increasing the gamma to 1.3 might work, but would take the edge off of the blacks and reduce the apparent contrast. Maybe it would work high-key. Best bet would have been to reflect or shine some light onto her face. |

My Toolsby GraciousComment: Okay... fooled me. {g} Still, very good - much moreso than the score indicates. |

My Toolsby GraciousComment: Just when I was growing sure that you couldn't take an interesting photo of a light fixture from below, here you go. Very cool tools. Is that spraypaint on the bulbs? Excellent tones, though the sharpness could be better. Congrats! |

Don't Come Any Closer!by SonifoComment: Good tone, good background, and well-armed cutie. Maybe a lighter hat next time to keep it out of the background. High marks. |

Crystal Ballby DigipixerComment: Nice IR, and works well with the fisheye to make an 'otherworldly' effect. I'd rotate it CW a little to straighten the horizon and crop out the vignetting. Interesting. |

Chive Flowerby KarenBComment: It looks like you've tried to create detail that didn't exist in the original by sharpening. Makes for a very pixelated, ersatz look. Good tones, and a pretty good composition (I'd have inched over to the right just a little). |

Union Soldier Take Aimby MaverickComment: Excellent clarity. Almost too much, as it makes the period costume and sepia kind of hard to belive. Time to add some dust and scratches. {g} I'd have asked him to hack down that one long diagonal twig with his bayonette, and aimed a little lower since I can't tell if he's in the stream or next to it. One of my favorites this round nonetheless. Nice work! |

Hmmm....Now where is that X?by SonifoComment: Why B/W? Not enough contrast, texture or pattern in the scene to warrant it, IMO, and I want my Big Bird yellow. Not bad for built-in flash. Only distracting shadow is behind the hand on his chin. Model looks a little mature for Sesame Street games, and appears bored. Good control of the bg. |

Footballby karmatComment: It's good! Oof foreground kind of works here. On-camera flash is double plus ungood, but you work with what you've got. Cam taped to forehead? |
