Reviving a Legendby CubComment: Lots of interesting elements, but rather spoiled by the soft focus (especially in the foreground). |

Shaken, not stirred... by AleciaComment: Here's a composition that would benefit from a little more symmetry. Shave just a fraction off the R side and shift the glass left. That nit aside, I'm impressed with your control of light and reflection. Glass is a tough subject. |

DeoxyribonucleicWHAT?! The Life of a Studentby KonadorComment: Nicely done. My only critique is that I'd like to see more of that light on the book instead of just having one corner brightly lit. It would make a nicer gradient on the wall, too. Small potatoes. Well done! |

Farmer's Harvestby erin_m02Comment: I love tight compositions, but I miss seeing the ends of the ears here. Nice tone, texture, color and sharpness. |

A Scribe's Businessby JakComment: Diffusing the flash with (for example) a piece of tissue would eliminate the distracting hotspot on the wood below the notebook. A tighter, less centered composition would add interest. What's with the nose? |

Would You Go Diving With Me?by ndsComment: Sure! Nice high key, but needs some more weight in the middle and bottom to balance the top - maybe lipstick (just for effect) or a different RGB conversion. Some sharpening or compression artifacts show in the hair. |

Merry Christmas from WPIX-TVby SatelliteSpeckComment: I like the selective focus here, but would like the whole composition slid to the left to show the cables entering the board - where the rubber meets the road, as it were. |

Healing Familiesby kandyjComment: A very good composition. Shame about the resolution - either an older camera or a rather extreme crop, I guess. Could be improved by moving them farther from the wall to control the shadows from the flash. |
