Left Behindby gotrondComment: A little less dof to blur your background more would have made your subject stand out better. I like the contrasts in colour and shape. |

Iris After a Spring Rainby Shea927Comment: A still life generally brings together a number of elements arranged by the artist into an eyecatching grouping. A closeup doesn't allow for the element of the arrangement to come into play. Also, this border does nothing to enhance the shot. Interesting shot, just not for this challenge, sorry. |

The Still Country Lifeby striderx77Comment: A still life generally brings together a number of elements arranged into a pleasing grouping. Lovely landscape, but not a still life. |

still...someone's lifeby vanbirdComment: A still life generally brings together a number of elements arranged into an eyecatching grouping. This may be someone's life, but you haven't arranged a still life, imo. |

Learning the Ariaby operalynnComment: Maybe a little more DOF to make all of the one page clear? My eye just doesn't feel comfortable with the fairly sharp division between soft and sharp where there's not naturally that division. Might be just me, tho'!
I like the general feel of the shot. :) |
